Vacancy for Occupational Doctor @ private hospital near Stilfontein in the North West Province (see job spec)

Private hospital situated near Stilfontein in the North West Province. We offer a range of quality medical services to the general public and mine employees.

The hospital was established in the 1950's and is currently licensed for 295 beds. It was privatized in 1995 under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer Dr. D.H. Griffiths.

We have three fully equipped theatres, a high care facility and isolation ward for the treatment of MDR (Multi Drug Resistant) patients. They also have their own laboratory, pharmacy and x-ray department. Their outpatient ward caters for the dental, hearing and ophthalmic needs of our patients. There are also TB, hypertension and diabetic clinics held in the hospital.

Special UVGI lights are being used in the hospital for the protection of their patients and visitors. They have a 24 hours casualty service, deal with trauma and give the needed counselling, provide Physiotherapy and occupational therapy and manage a HIV-AIDS programme with counselling.

They are a closely knit team of over 100 employees and all work on the basis that the patient comes first. They strive to provide cost effective, quality healthcare to all their patients.

This candidate will be responsible for running the hospital as well as handling occupational health duties and managing the staff

The Doctor will be responsible for handling the budget of the Hospital
